Health Canada’s Natural Health Products Directorate has accepted the Master File submitted by ADM, Decatur, IL, for its BeneFlax flax lignan concentrate. The Master File provides safety information and other key data to enable Canadian customers to attain approval for their formulated consumer products that incorporate this ingredient. BeneFlax is produced through a proprietary extraction and purification method developed using the technology of the Flax Consortium, a partnership of Canadian government and university researchers.
